Austin’s version of La Cantera to grow with new $7M development

Austin’s version of La Cantera in San Antonio is getting a new multimillion-dollar development in the works. The Domain, a popular north Austin shopping, office and housing area, will soon be adding another new building to its skyline. 

A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing shows a new $7 million construction in the works for a project called, “Domain 9.5.” The two-story building, owned by Cousins Properties, will be located at 11815 Alterra Pkwy., Austin, TX 78758 and include four suites: 100, 110, 120 and 130.

This comes as the Domain continues to boom with new retailers, restaurants and technology offices within the past year. The scope of work for the “Domain 9.5,” includes the “ground up development of a 31,410 square-foot, 2 story, 4 tenant, commercial shell including a partially below grade parking garage.”
